My name is Kristin Simmon-Lowman. I am a LCSW, graduate from University of Illinois Chicago, Jane Addams School of Social Work, with a Type 73 license for working in the schools. I have worked in a variety of areas including community mental health, mental health hospital, DCFS (Department of Child and Family Services), Alternative School, Public School and Special Education Cooperative. I have run dozens and dozens of social skills, safe kids, hygiene, anxiety prevention, social thinking, and life skills groups. Family, individual and group therapy with a concentration on using cognitive behavioral therapy techniques. I have over 17 years experience working in the field!
My area of speciality is with children with ASD, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, ADD and Depression.
